Going on line at boot up

How do I get the Broadband on line to start at boot up. I can't see what must be obvious.

Do you mean you want your broadband connection to 'kick in' as soon as windows loads?

Yes De Marcus.

VoG has suggested opening a command prompt window and type in a program. How do I open a command prompt window? Sorry I am a bit thick.

It seems to work now - although it inly goes on line when I go into Outlook Express.
Thanks for your help.

Since the lastest MS update (genuine check) I have the opposite problem, my modem connects to BB as soon as I log on often before firewall and AV have started.

Perhaps all you need to do is update windows.
