1. Missing Invalid Application Path Entry

The Key "Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\AppPaths\yourapp.exe"

Refers to an invalid appplication path

C:\ ProgramFiles\Zoom\YourApp.exe

2. Microsoft Shared DLL Error

The Key "Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Shared DLLs"

Refers to a missing file


This problem has been highlighted in Norton Windoctor when doing a check. It can be cured using thier fix problem tool, but as soon as you rescan with Norton windoctor the problem is still there

1 - reinstall the program mentioned as "yourapp.exe" within the zoom folder.

2 - try running sfc by going to


and type in

sfc /scannow

Does "yourapp" run OK - if it does then the error that's been "discovered" is wrong.

Does your roxio application (EasyCD Creator?) run OK? - If it does then the error that's been "discovered" is wrong.

Norton Windoctor is one of many programs designed to generate panic and induce a loss of confidence in your computer by giving you loads of information which may or may not be true but in all likelihood you don't require to know anyway.

The important thing is does your computer operate in the way it is supposed to? If it does, forget Norton and concentrate on the things your machine is supposed to do - that is compute!

Remember - Zillions of computers operate without the "benefits" of this, and similar, programs. Yours will as well.

If you are having any real problems, come back here and someone will almost certainly be able to sort them out for you.

Just wondered why the subject of this thread is GJM and not Norton Windoctor?
