(gdtdi.sys) System Crash

  smy13 21:43 09 Jan 2005

Just recovered from a system crash, the MS crash site says it was caused by the above which is from McAfee. Contacted McAfee and their advice is to go back to IE and Bin Firefox I'm reluctant to do this. I want to understand why this happened and how I can get round it. Any help/Advice would be welcome

I'm using Firefox with XP and SP2 with no problem at all, but that's with Avast. I think the real problem is with McAfee and XP with SP2, and possibly Firefox. My suggestion is to bin McAfee and use Avast.
