Running Norton Windoctor test on the computer, I get an error message which cannot be sorted by Norton. The message says that C\Windows\System32\MAPISRVR.EXE cannot find the file "gapi32.dll". What is the program and is it important it cannot find this file?? Norton rates the problem "medium". Any ides or help gratefully received

Do a google search for gapi32.dll and you'll find info from Microsoft, its a known problem they give you a fix if you wish or you can ignore it because as they say "Method 2: Configure Norton WinDoctor to ignore the error
Configure Norton WinDoctor to ignore the error. Because the error message that is described in the "Symptoms" section of this article is an issue with Norton WinDoctor, and not an issue with Windows files, you may decide to ignore the error message. "

Thanks guys! I suspected it was not important - but it is nice to have confirmation. Another example of Norton Paranoia!!!
