As in previous posts, i said i would let you know how this set top box (STB) performs.

Its been up and running fine for 2 hours.
signal strength is a bit low (perhap a new arial or a new cable, i know that the cable has a "y" splitter in it, so perhaps i will do away with it).

Installation was very good, a straight replacement of the "SKY" box.

TV tuned in to all the channels as soon as i turned the stb on.

Sorry (forgot to mention) DAEWOO DS608P STB £59.99 from TESCO.

Bought my son the (very compact) Pioneer DTR DT100 (£88) for Christmas.

Superb sound and pix - bass output on some radio stations has to be turned right back it's so strong due to the compression...

The new menu interface, compared to the ONDigital version, is far superior and comes up instantaneously.

The Pioneer also takes "snapshots" of screen if you require, storing up to 15 at a time.

I've got the very rare Pioneer DTR D210GB, which also delivers cracking pix and sound.
