Free rootkit removal tool??

  muddypaws 11:05 23 Jan 2008

I googled 'GLB62.tmp' that my Firewall was requesting access approval for. I have done a free scan with this which was on the results page. click here This has allegedly found two rootkits on my Win XP SP2.
Not sure if this is genuine or a ploy.
I have used all my usual anti-spyware: Spybot/Adaware 2007/ Webroot Spysweeper which found nothing and now currently running SuperAntiSpyware.
Just wondered if there was a free removal tool anyware.
I am a bit wary of scans that find things and then charge for removal.
None the wiser what GLB62.tmp is and I can't remember what programme requested it.
Will start separate thread for GLB if necessary

AVG and GMER seem to get the best recommendations re rootkits.

minimum requirements =MS Windows 2000 (32-Bit) or MS Windows XP (32-Bit)
does this mean it will work with vista?
