Free church wifi

  Version 1 09:31 15 Jun 2010

I understand that there will be a crackdown on open wifi spots by Ofcom unless they are businesses?

If my local church wishes to continue to offer it - is there a free or cheap way for it to do so?

Many thanks

This comes under the new Digital Economy Act and is about stopping illegal downloads. See click here and click here.

How do you currently stop users downloading unsuitable material? I would be wary of this.

I don't think that there will be a free or cheap way of continuing and you will have to wait to see what Ofcom advises.
