Free basic web counter. Please

  LAP 19:07 08 Nov 2005

My wife requires a basic web counter for her web site without the need to attach an advert from its supplier. Her web site is connected to our local radio station and they will not allow adverts.

Do you have/know of a basic counter that she can use. Thank you.

Thanks Mark5001 but on the site it states:

'Can I use the counter free of charge?
Yes, but you must include the links given in the code'. The links will include access to other sites which is in fact an advert.

Do you know of a basic 'type it yourself' counter that I can load up on her site?

This is the only other one I know of.

Mark5001 thank you for replying. I've had a look at this site, but when they say 'we will count your visitors know matter how many' suggests to me that they will be using the 'visitors' email addressess for there own means.

I will tick this thread as resolved and keep on trying. Thanks again.

Does the host not provide stats? Might be worth a check.

The FE pointed me to this site some time ago.

I have been using it for over a year. No strings attached.

Diodorus Siculus. Re the 'host provider' will check this, but my wife actually wants the counter shown on her web site.

pj123. re your suggestion I cannot get it to work at the moment, but will keep trying.

Thank you both. Lap...
