I am loking for a free a prog .that will automatically delete selected folders each time the computer is turned off.For example cookies, history, temp files, etc.I know I can do it manually but it would be nice to not have to fiddle about.
Any ideas please.

Have you actually used this prog. and would you reccommend it,only I usually avoid progs. from magazines because many are obtrusive and turn out to be more trouble than they are worth.

the one I recommended, and have done for a while.

I notice that there is now a later version, i.e. the link I gave you. I have downloaded it but not yet installed or used it.

I may not bother, as the version I'm using seems to be OK.

Thanks in advance.

You should scan your system for spyware.

I was considering downloading ilsystem wiper when I came across this:

Hope there isn't anything nasty on your system.

provided by dagwood...

There are 3 reviews that are negative, out of 37.

All I can say is that the 3 negative reviews are very specific about what they are unhappy with;

1) "it didn't remove all the URL entries"

That's not my experience

2) " It installs malicious programs on your computer. It will reset your homepage and give you about 20 new programs right after you use it."

That's not my experience. My homepage wasn't reset and Adaware shows nothing amiss. Nothing extra installed either!

3) "Everytime you go to use it, it wants to access your modem, to download SPYWARE. And if you block it off from your modem it stops working. Yes it's "FREE" but the cost is more junk mail."

That's not my experience. It's just works fine for me. (Win98se, ilsystem version 2.1)

I have run several test today on Isystem wiper and can find nothing wrong with it.It seems to do " What it says on the can ".
I will stick with it until I have any problems myself.
Thanks again to all contributers
