Frame Merging Video Recording Issue

So I've scoured the internet for an explanation for this, but havent found any. Basically I've been recording Dark Souls Remastered recently, but when I look at the footage, there are parts where the screen is seemingly split in half. By that I mean the top half or so of the screen shows one frame, while the bottom shows a previous one. At first I thought it was an Interlacing issue, but the De-interlacing methods did not work. Basically, I'm asking if anyone can tell me what this could be, and perhaps how one might go about fixing this. P.S. this is not unique to Dark Souls Remastered footage, it has done the same with other games. Thanks!
