Folder Replicates on start up

  WillW88 09:19 17 Dec 2008

Quite how, I don't know, but I have created a file folder that has 0 files and 70 folders.. all with the same name*. It's size is 0 bytes and it's size on disc is 0 bytes on start up gets placed on Desktop
Trying to delete the file folder or any of the folders brings up the instruction 'This folder contains items whose names are too long for the recycle bin'. Hitting OK on that brings up the further instruction 'The source file names are larger than is supported by the file system. Try moving to a location which has a shorter path name or try renaming to shorter names before attempting this operation'. I tried renaming a couple of folders to no avail. I have goggled problem spent hours, people have Had same problem but has never been solved.

First thing I would do, WillW88, is run scans with the two antispyware programs I mention in this post click here See if that helps.
