Folder opens at startup

  Pepper9 08:50 19 Feb 2010

I have just installed a new printer and now the folder containing all the software for the printer opens at startup. I have looked in the startup folder - it is empty. I have looked in startup in msconfig - no sign. Can anyone help me to stop this please?

try opening up the printer prog and look for a tick in a box saying open this folder at startup

Also, try using CCleaner click here to clear out your temporary files.

Is there somewhere in the printer startup box saying that (you can check/tick it),don't start up next time when Windows starts?

Thanks all - nothing on the folder at all - it is just the normal folder type that all programmes etc are housed in.

Just used CCleaner but to not avail - folder is still opening at startup - any other suggestions please?

Think I may have solved it - went to msconfig>startup and disabled Epson event manager. Hoping that this will do the trick - fingers crossed!
