As part of my work with people with dyslexia I have to carry a laptop and assorted equipment.My latest laptop has a USB floppy (large & heavy).As part of our quality control our software writes to a floppy disk after every consultation.I would like to find a way of replacing the portable floppy with a hard drive emulator (it's not possible to modify the software to write to C:).Does anyone know of a way of emulating a floppy?
If nobody comes up with another solution, it might be possible to use a USB memory stick instead, and edit the drive letters in Windows so that the memory stick shows up as drive a:\
