Flickering Screen - Maxthon maybe?

  [email protected]© 16:57 23 Nov 2005

I have started to use Maxthon as my browswer which I have found to be brilliant. But it seems ever since I have used it my screen has been flickering no matter what I am doing. It happens whilst surfing, e-mailing and even in word. Anybody no why and if there is a solution? It may have nothing to do with Maxthon it just seems to have started since using it.

Resolution doesnt seem to be it.

Refresh rate - try upping it to minimum 72Hz - higher if the monitor will use it.

NB - only if a CRT monitor.

Right I have uninstalled Maxthon and the flickering has stopped, so I know its got something to do with that. But I really like Maxthon as its pop-up stopper is second to none. Any other browsers I can use that have good pop-up blockers or any other suggestions?

Try to get an earlier version of Maxthon if you can - may be more stable.

Also give Avant browser a try - it's similar click here. G
