Looks good to me, and gets some good reviews. I have a 17" AOC TFT, thrilled to bits with it, excellent colours and sharpness of display. Do I have any regrets in making the change from a CRT tube?

Well yes, but not major, and one I can live with. At 1280x1024 I, at times find the text can be a little on the small side, [Poor eyesight] and if I was choosing again, then I would opt for a 15" TFT with a display of 1024x768. But otherwise I find the flat display and [Very important] complete lack of reflections from the screen an absolute enjoyment to work with.

Also the display is spot on, corner to corner the moment you turn on, no waiting for "Warm-up" and fiddling with the controls. No flicker of the screen and as far as I can tell perfect brightness/colour right accross the display. Good luck with your choice and purchase. j.

The Acer AL712 click here is a good choice also, it comes with a DVi connector as well as the normal D-Sub and has a response (rising and falling) of 20ms
