Fitting more Ram to a Packard Bell Laptop

  raysophie 11:18 11 Jul 2007

Need to upgrade the memory on my friends Packard Bell Easynote S4, it has 256 at moment want to upgrade to 1GB. Have taken cover off memory compartment but cannot see how to release existing memory. There are two spring type catches either side of the memeory stick but I am not sure what to do to release them,do not want to mess up machine. Also conflicting information about whether I can fit 2 chips or one,Packard Bell site says only one slot is accesible?
Any tips gratefully received.
