A lot of people already know about this program, but if you are new to Firefox you may not know there is a very good spellchecker for Firefox, also language packs for Thunderbird.

I'll try, my installation is slightly different being Linux, so to help me get a grip on what you've done so far, have you downloaded the program to your hard drive?

No surprise there, suddenly all the firefox users are getting the spell checker.
