when i connect to internet via firefox my home page address appears in the address bar at the same time as firefox tells me it cant find it, i click try again button and its instantly there. tried changing home page, same result. also i have to "maximise" every time, to fill screen with the home page.
anybody got any solutions, i know they are not real problems and only an irritants but they do irritate.

if you are using the browser to start up the internet connection then Firefox will open faster than the connection is made.
When you click on your homepage for the second time then the connection is there for it to download.

As far as your maximise problem, try clicking on the corner of the Firefox window and dragging it to full screen, then to close FF don't use the X in the top right hand corner, but go to File>Quit and see of it opens full screen next time you open it.
