Firefox great but not with bt yahoo

I agree Firefox is a great browser and helps speed up our 0.5Mb/sec connection but I am with bt yahoo which can be configured in ie but the 'today', e-mail preview, news story summaries, sidebar and site configuration just don't work. I will be upgrading to Windows 64 bit and from the Firefox forum it seems that only 32 bit is supported which seems a bit short sighted.
Is ther any way to get the speed of Firefox with bt yahoo?

Thanks for the help. I installed add-on returned to bt yahoo in firefox but it is still the same. Do I need to change some settings in the ie menu of the add-on?

Thank you. I hadn't noticed that icon.I found if you right click and add the url displayed to the list of sites then the browser defaults to ie when you open the bookmark. The webcams of also need ie to display.
