click here a lot faster than 32bit version 28
works
Went to Majorgeeks and downloaded the 64bit version (or so I thought) and it installed it to Program Files (x86) which I thought was a bit odd.
According to Control Panel/ Progs and Features it is 32bit.
Uh Oh!!
pineman mine shows 32 bit too just checked in ccleaner-programs, but anyway a big speed increase. always wondered why FF and chrome never moved to 64bit
Strange that majorgeeks give you the choice of either 32 or 64bit but they are both the same!
There appears to be a 64bit beta version on the Mozilla site which may be released soon.
Correct, click on "Help" etc and it updates easily.
All sounds good but how do I put tabs UNDER all the other bits again?
Hope someone has sussed it ... I appreciate any help
Thanks
Well as far as speed goes my tests show:-
1st Chrome
2nd IE 11
3rd Firefox 29
If anything the new version of Firefox seems slower to me than before!
Yes, I agree with Pine Man. I am finding 29 much slower than the previous version. I'm now considering reverting to 28 until the speed is sorted out
