My Internet start page has been hijacked by the above URL. How can I get it back to Google on a Windows 2000 PC at work which has the Internet Options disabled?

I have access to a local administrator's password but this won't change the home page for my login.

You need to tinker in the registry or get:

Hijack this! to prevent it in the future.

You could try click here

click here and use spyware blaster,

I've tried Spybot and Ad-Aware unsuccessfully.

open IE, click tools/internet options

click the Programs tab

click reset Web Settings

accept the option to reset the home page (you can set it to what you want later)

hopefully this will sort it out, apologies if you have already done this.

The administrator has removed all the tabs in Tools/Internet Options.

Try StartPage Guard click here

Once installed click the padlock at the top left - this should unlock your home page. Then enter Google in the box and click the padlock again to lock it.

Ok,looks like everytime I go to a favorite page I end up on someother web site. Tried removing urls and clean up cookies. Nada. Reset default web settings. Nada. What to do next?
