Without getting into making user accounts and passwords, is there any way to password protect a file/folder so no one but the user can access??

You can encrypt almost any file type with these.

I say almost, because while I've never found anything that AxCrypt can't handle, somebody may know different.

click here Cryptainer LE is another free option that works in a slightly different way, instead of encrypting each file, it creates an encrypted location that you can keep stuff in.
