Is it possible to change file system FAT32 to NTFS without losing any information. Operating systme is XP Home edition.

In the command prompt window, type
convert (drive_letter): /fs:ntfs

For example, typing convert D: /fs:ntfs would format drive D: with the ntfs format.

Thanks for quick response. It`s for a friends pc so I thought I`d check with someone who knows 1st. I won`t lose any files will I ?

No, you won't lose any files.
