Fan on graphics card packed up

  egroeg 20:30 16 Oct 2003

Hi people,
I have an Nvidia geforce3 Ti 500 and the fan over the heatsink has stopped, so the card is overheating and causing the computer to freeze up.
What can I do ? Can I get a new fan or is there some other course of action I should be taking ?

Thanks in advance :-)

If you have a Maplin Electronics near you, they can supply a replacement fan. You can also order from their web site, but obviously incur postage costs. click here search for fans!

try this
I have one of these on my gf3 ti 200
and it works fine, although there is no fan speed sensor. it runs off a 12 v drive connector.
