today my brother updated his adobe reader sofware via notification on his desktop and restarted the pc When the pc rebooted hes met with a screen which says something about hes been caught downloading copyright films, games and porn, and to remove the notice he has to pay £100 I would think this is a scam and it was in the adobe reader update (fake) To remove it hes been into the pc through safe mode and run malware bytes antimalware scan ,151 objects found butit didnt remove the notice on his desktop Also ran avast anti virus full scan but found nothing Any ideas appreciated thanks
