external DVDRW

I have a external Lite On DVDRW(EZ-DUB) which I would like to use as a internal DVDRW.Is it possible to remove the dvd unit from the enclosure and fit into my PC.Cheers

so long as the drive is ide and you have a spare ide channel,yes,don't forget to configure it master or slave if you share a channel

MAJ and karmgord,I know there are cheap at present,but its not being used at all.So I thought about fitting into a spare PC.Thanks.
