What laptop is it?

How are you trying to "load the OS"? overwrite a current install, run a new install, or what?

Are you booting with a floppy disk?

An option for you may be to copy the whole CD to the hdd and then install from there.

The external USB cd is not being recognised because of the inability of the BIOS see it so early on as a boot option. I don't know of a way round that.

If you boot normally, you may be able to install from the CD drive.

Do you have a partition on the hdd? If so, you may be able to copy the whole CD to it and run the install process - that way overwriting the current installation.

the fact is i cant access to it,forget my adminstrator password and i dont know any way to reset it so decided to install a new OS.
cheers poste back plz
