I'm running W98se every so often the web page disappeares the screen turns blue with this Mesg. :-
An exception 0d has occurred at 0028:c178da35 in vxd sbpi(01)+00050995. this was called from 00028:179091c in v+d sbpci(01)0005387c.

It then says that it may be poss. to cont. but will not. Can anyone help me to prevent this happening.

Are you sure it is not vxd sbpci ?

If so you could try updating your sound card drivers. Why this should cause Internet Explorer to crash, I do not know.
