Excellent information site for Windows

  Arnie 19:13 12 Aug 2006

I’ve just found this very nice web site which may be of great help to many forum members.
The icons to the left and right of the page may be selected to extend the vast range of information.

This site "Optimizing Windows" gives you the information how to install and optimise Windows and how to create a Windows system image.

All the tips, tricks and tools you need to know about before you start installing and optimising your Windows

So a site about "optimizing" (sic) Windows and then at the bottom the author adds:

"I don't read e-mail with attachments, somehow they get lost"

Hmmm ...

Seems to be some good stuff there Arnie; thanks for the link.

As for the comment re email attachments, many people will not accept unsolicited attachments for security reasons.

"I don't read e-mail with attachments, somehow they get lost"

I think it is his way of saying; attachments will be deleted.
Do you blame him?

I have just looked at some of the info and there is a vast amount of detail on all aspects of the Windows system.

The deletion of Services is a good example. Many of mine were deleted anyway, but the info holds good.

I posted in good faith in order to augment the many other excellent sites of this ilk.

I see you have included the very site I mentioned.

No.9 on your list.

You're most welcome.

I've come across this website before and suspected that Menno Schoone won't accept unsolicited e-mails with attachments from people he doesn't know.

It's probably a very wise move.
