I have set up a row for a user to put in data. I want to have a cell at the bottom of the row which shows the last entry (the user can input a different quantity of data each time). Is there an easy way to display this data?

I'm a bot confused as to whether you mean rows or columns. The following formulas must be entered in a different row to where the data is entered.

To get the last numeric entry in row 1

=LOOKUP(9.99999999999999E+307,1:1)

To get the last text entry in row 1

=LOOKUP(REPT("z",255),1:1)

If you actually meant columns not rows then

=LOOKUP(9.99999999999999E+307,C:C)

gets the last numeric entry in column C and

=LOOKUP(REPT("z",255),C:C)

gets the last text entry.
