Looking for some help regarding a spreadsheet we are trying to put together for our nursery to track stock.
We currently have a spreadsheet with the stock we hold, nappies, bibs, the usual kids stuff.

Worksheet one has three columns, Item, Amount, Total Cost.
Worksheet two has three columns, Item, Stocklevel, Cost.

When I input the item on the first worksheet, i need it to look up the item on the second worksheet, update the stocklevel, multiply the cost and return that info back to the first worksheet under the total cost column.

Is it possible, me and the kids hope so.

VLOOKUP should work for everything except updating the stock level (that would require event code).

Your TotalCost calculation on Sheet1 would be something like this for an item entered in A9


See if you can get that to work and post back. I'll then have a go at the stock level code.
