Exactly what is a Radeon 9000LE?

This may sound trivial, but it's been bugging me since I bought this PC. The packaging states that my graphics card is a Radeon 9000LE. What does LE stand for? What are the differences between a 9000LE and a 9000? Is it a cheaper version, or something? There's no reference to this specific card on the ATI website, so any information would be appreciated!

Thanks for the link, but it still doesn't explain what LE means. My card is only 64 MB (in fact, the ATI site reckons that only the Pro version can have 128 MB).

The card may not be made by ATI it could be powered by ATI. In which case you need to find ot the make of the card. Mine is a Radeon 9000pro 128mb powered by ATI but made by A-Tek.

If you look here click here there are quite a few 9000's with only 64mb. Check through you may find yours.

Thanks, but still no EXACT match. The FIC card is very similar in specification, but it looks different. I'll try the Google search.

Oh heck, there are dozens of them! Forget it, I'll live in ignorance.

Over the years I thought LE stood for Limited Edition, sometimes applied to price offers that economised in the specs.
