Even Newer: Ad-Aware SE Personal 1.02

I downloaded it this morning and all seemed fine, found 44 new objects but then it wanted to update a reference file, which I did but each time I checked it wanted to do the same update again!

After seven updates of the same file, [All successful] I removed Adaware and downloaded the new version just now. It works fine this time, don't know why the first version of SE was acting up :o(

Thats what they were talking about on Powerless' link,I had had similar happenings here, but then reinstalled/updated SpywareBlaster and once I had killed all the IE/Restricted sites,AdAware has nothing to do. :-)

Thanks Powerless.

Just opened v1.01 and noticed that an earlier reference file I had downloaded hadn't "taken"(as per Djohn).

Cheers, dagwoood.

All seemed fine update ok.but gone when tried se again.after 5 tries with same results looked in lavasoft forum. It is noted as a fault and a new version of 1.02 will be ready for download as soon as possible

The new 1.02 is now ready to download from Lavasoft. Best to remove the 1.01 first from control panel/add/remove then download and install the new one. j.

Every time I checked for updates with 1.01 I was told there weren't any. Anyway have now downloaded 1.02 and will swap them over. Thanks Powerless.

I've just run v 1.02 and its showing 36 items in my MRU list.

As these pose no threat why are they being 'found'? and will it cause a problem if I quarantine them?
