Error shown in device manager

I have an exclamation mark next to USB mass storage device in device manager, I tried to disable/enable but made no difference, the device status says "The device cannot start code 10 "

This info is in the events tab

Are you u sing Windows 10? It could be that the driver for the usb device that you have tried to install is not compatible with Windows 10.

Yes win 10, last PC was win10 also.

Have you tried using the Windows 10 Troubleshooter? Sart - type troubleshooting - view all and then go to hardware and devices.

Have you gone into device manager and tried updating the driver? Have you tried uninstalling the driver then plugging the device back in and allowing windows to find the driver? Have you tried a different usb port?
