Error Message disk full on workstation Server 2003

I run a small office network with a server running MS Server 2003. One of my workstations networked to the server has recently started to produce an error message when I work on the workstation and open a document located on the server, amend it and then try to save it (to the server). The message reports that 'the disk is full, please delete other files to make space.' When I looked on the workstation I noted that the Network path (Y:\ drive) set to the server has only 1GB of storage space (the server and workstation each have 80GB and neither is more than 25% used space). Of the 1GB available only 28kb is left as Free Space. I can't find out how to reset the 1GB to a larger amount. Can anyone help?

Logon to your server locally as an Administrator.

Now, you need to find where the file is shared from, it could be K:\myserverfiles\shared\user

Right click on this, sharing and security.

Then there should be Quota/Permissions which you can change.

Otherwise, I'm sure Active Directory can also manage it somewhere... :)

Right click on server HDD, quotas, and then it's all in there... just increase the amount.
