Error log continually shows service start error.

My system error log continually shows the following error, which probably occurs at every boot-up:-
"The %OWC_USBEHCD.DeviceDesc% service failed to start due to the following error:The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it."
I have no apparent problems with my computer and all systems and services, including all USB services run normally. I am running Windows XP Home, SP2.
Can I do something to remove the error, or shoud I continue to ignore it?
This also shows up in the event log at each boot-up.

Start -run - type
services.msc
press OK.

scroll down to to the service and highlight click properties and set startup type to Automatic.

Thanks for your input, Fruit Bat.
Unfortunately the service,%OWC_USBHCD.DeviceDesc%does not appear in the services list unless it is under another name.
I believe the "OWC" may refer to Office Web Components, but I am not convinced that this facility is installed on my system.(I have Office 2000 installed.
