I have just installed a new black ink cartridge but now the printer has decided I also need to replace the cyan cartridge. I only print b/w documents so is there any way of getting the printer to work without replacing the colour cartridges?
All colours are reqired to be functioningeve if you are printing 'black' onlyWith general purpose printers such as this - 'Black' is a sort of green/grey- to obtain true black all colours must overprint each other.
Pity - looks like I will have to go back to a Lexmark printer. Hey ho.
LEXMARK!and the best of British
It works with only a black cartridge and compatible or refills at that. All I want is a basic printer, no fancy graphics of colour images.Any suggestions for a better alternative are welcome.
You are going to buy another printer!A Lexmark to boot with the price of their consumablesHardly sound economics it? Look for your Epson Cartridgehere click here
