I HAD A PAPER JAM ON MY PRINTER.AFTER I'D MANAGED TO UNBLOCK IT, I THEN WENT TO RESTART IT AND NOW ALL THE CARTRIDGES WILL DO IS COME A
LITTLE BIT TO THE LEFT (AS NORMAL) THEN GO A FRACTION OF THE WAY TO THE RIGHT AND THEN JAM MAKING A HORRIBLE GRINDING NOISE(NOT NORMAL). I'VE CHECKED THERE'S NOTHING STOPPING THEM UNDERNEATH.
ANY IDEAS ?

MANY THANKS

Seriously though, there must be some paper still jammed in the works.

Sorry if this is not of much help. I have two Epson printers, one laser and one inkjet. Both are a difficult to service when the paper jams.

they say it's the lowest form of whit, so along those lines.... "about as much use as chocolate fireguard".
thanks all the same.

Try this. Lift the lid of the printer and switch it on. When the cartridges start moving to the left pull the power lead out of the back of the printer. Now physically move the cartridges as far to the left as they will go. put the power lead back in and let the printer re-initialise.

if your computer is on shut down and reboot.
