Epson R300 printing over 2 pages

  Trikie 21:11 01 Feb 2010

My usually reliable Epson R300 printer has just started to cut the bottom few lines from an A4 page and put them on a second page. The rest of this second page is blank.

Is there a way to correct this?

Go to Page Setup (File menu) and make sure that your bottom margins have not increased.

Thanks. I'm using PagePlus 10 DTP and the page set up is A4 which is the paper I'm using.

I'm talking about the printer settings - check the page margins at the bottom of the page.

How do I get to the printer settings - not sure what page you are referring to.

In Internet Explorer or Firefox go to the File menu and click Page Setup - look for the margin settings.

Thanks Sea Urchin. I used my other printer, an Epson R285 to do this job and had no problem. Using the R300 to print a word processor document since it has worked perfectly.

Both printers have identical margin settings making me suspect that the problem is based in the Serif DTP programme. Strange as the same document - a multi page booklet - has always printed OK with the R300 until now.
