Epson R200/R300, questions and opinions

Three questions for answers if poss and any opinions.
1) found a £6 difference between these two printers on Comet website, free del. on r300. Should I get r200 or r300.
2) I am in no position to question the wise sages who give advice on this site but doesn't chopping and changing from genuine to compatible cartridges for printing in different formats cause problems.
3) Any one realise that before the R200 was given a best buy tag you could buy one for £69.99 now they are anywhere from £79.99 upto £99.99

I have the R200, bought brand new and boxed on ebay for £50. The difference between the R200 and R300 (apart from the price) is the R300 has a built in multi memory card reader and an LCD screen and can print direct from camera cards.

Once the original Epson ink cartridges are used I only use compatible cartridges from click here Never had any problems whatsoever with prints.

My son has the R200 and I have the R300.

If you are in to digital photography go for the R300.

We are both very happy with the results achieved.
