Epson R200 Paper Sizes

I have been asked to produce some banners for a 50th birthday party. I have prepared the image, which I wish to print on A4 micro-perforated continuous paper. The banner is to be seven continuous A4 sheets, ie 210mm high X 2080mm wide. The driver for the R200 allows custom sizes, but for some reason the minimum is 890mm x 890mm. How can I set the printer to print 210mm x 2080mm?

Hav eyou actually tried printing the banner. The print dialogue box for my R220 shows the minimum as 890 x 890, but this is in units of 0.01mm, so I think the minimum is actually 8.9mm x 8.9mm!

I have tried printing, and it only prints part of the image. The units are 0.01cm or 0.01in. This means that the 'page' is practically four sheets of A4, end to end. The printer however insists on printing the centre of the image, meaning the first and last 1.5 sheets of the image are not printed at all.

Having tried just about everything I could think of I did the decent thing and gave up. I redesigned the image and printed it in three sections, which can be stuck together. Not ideal, but a workaround.

I would really like to find out how to hack the driver to allow eight sheet end to end printing.

Any ideas, chums?

8.9 mm that's about three eigths of an inch

I think you mean 8.9cm but that's still less than 4 inch

I have no-idea if it will work (if its printer dependant) or what it will look like, but it may point you in the right direction.

A sheet of A4 is 210mm x 297mm...:-)

Woodchip, no I mean 8.9mm. The units are .01mm, the multiplier is 890. QED- click here

As I've already pointed out, a sheet of A4 is 210mm x 297mm.

There is no way you can set the printer to print out at 2080mm wide.

It just might work using the standard A4 settings in the printer's Properties and instructing it to print out/collate seven individual sheets.
