Epson Picturemate

Hi, Has anyone here ever used or got experience of the Epsom Picturemate. Am considering buying one but would be grateful for any advice or suggestions for alternatives. Thanks

Am also interested in Epson PictureMate or similar (e.g. HP Photosmart). Surprised to see no response to emmaneldo's post yet, so would like to add a couple of specific queries:

1. Are they truly portable -- e.g. can they be packed in your luggage without ink spilling everywhere?
2. What is "new" about their printing technology? Epson and HP both say their photos will last longer than normal photos.

Recommend you go on the manufacturers web site & search for Photo Pc P1000 Photo Viewer there is an excellent PDF version of the brochure you can download. Very impressive and only 4 pages.

No doubt you have Acrobat PDF reader - the latest version I have recently downloaded is version 7.

Hope this helps!

Realise you are looking for the portable printer.

Anyway visiting the Epson web site may still be useful.
