emails galore?

recently I`ve had some virus problems which have been dealt with by my anti virus software but
for some reason when I switch on go on linr and
into outlook express I apparently receiving
20-25 emails of which up to 11 get installed then
it sticks and goes no further.What is going on
incidentally a number of these are infected I
carried out the usual blocking, filtering and
deleting routines but it still carries on.
please help.

I would change your email address. Before doing that just check that all your cookie, temp and temp internet files are empty. You could also d/l and run 'Adaware' from click here

With most ISP`s now . you can log on to thier Website to access your mail ( you may/may not have to register the same address again ).

If you access from there , just delete all the offending E-Mails , log out again , and you should be able to download as normal using Outlook Express .

Your AntiVirus software might be responsible for blocking , see this earlier thread click here , have a check of your own AV`s setup , to see if the problem lies there.

Follow Gandalf`s advice; log into your ISP and access your e-mail. I had this problem once, and found that there was a message with an enormous attachment.

Also, ensure that your "server timeout" in Outlook Express is set to long, (5 mins).
