Whats the maximum file size for attachments in outlook express? v.6 Thanks anyone

Hotmail, for example, is 1 MB. In OE you have the option to split apart messages over a certain size if required. : }

NTL cable,if i make an attachment too big would it do it automatically?

It's more to do with file size allowed by ISP servers than OE. You can break up a large message into smaller ones in OE and then it's all put together at the other end.

Also, you can compress attachments before sending. What exactly do you want to do?

"If I make an attachment too big would it do it automatically ? " The answer is no - you have to set OE to do it for you. Go > OE > Tools > Accounts > Properties of your ISP, and put tick in box " Break apart messages larger than " then specify what size. : }
