EDO Ram Memory Upgrade

  Carronade 08:31 05 Jul 2004

Friends have a 6 years old computer with Pentium 166MHz/MMX processor and 48Mb(2x 8Mb and 2X 16Mb)EDO Ram memory installed. Is EDO memory still available or can they upgrade the memory by replacing EDO with 168 pin 3.3v SDRAM and should it be 100 or 133MHz?

Help will be appreciated.

Thank you both for your help. I see that EDO is stocked and once I find out the motherboard in use we can find out how much it will cost. Thanks again.
