editing a pdf document

Hi all ive got a application form saved to my desktop & can you belive it the company i am applying for has protected the document so its not possibel to edit it & put all your personal bits on it, is ther anyway i can edit the document..? ive got a couple of "Pdf Edit" progs butthey wont edit it...as its protected..anyone shed any light here please..

As a rule a .pdf of this nature is designed to be printed and completed in longhand.

They are asking you to send it to a postal address. So they want you to complete it by hand.

I can only conclude that you want to enter the info 'typed' rather than completed longhand.

Therefore, print off the form;

Scan it into the computer using an OCR program;

Enter the details from the keyboard;

save and print to produce a 'printed' form for posting.
