ECS PC133 memory problem

  btb2 15:09 01 Mar 2004

Can anyone tell me why my PC locks up randomly when two PC133 DIMMS are inserted, and works fine with one. The system is an ECS K7S5A v3.1 motherboard, with an Athlon 2Gig.processor. I read that the power supply may not be up to it (300W,) could this be the case? Will the problem be the same if I buy DDR memory modules? Barry

Have you tried running it at 100/100 or 100/133 in bios see if it still locks up,if it does i would say u have a faulty ram stick or 2 different sorts of ram.
