Eco.A Virus

Via AVG, I've had 2 virus alerts tonight (I usually get one every 6 months). The first one was the I-Worm/Bugbear which I cleaned using the special healing tool from Grisoft.

Less than 30 minutes later, AVG spotted the Eco.A virus on my nephew's floppy. If I right-click on his CV on the floppy, I get the AVG alert screen. I go for "Heal" and the normal screen returns; the normal shortcut appears and I'm then able to select "Scan with AVG". However no virus is then detected.

I suspect that the Bugbear virus has damaged AVG itself and that the Eco.A alert is bogus. Any thoughts?

It is a boot sector virus click here

I don't know whether AVG can remove this.
