E-mail received in alpha & numeric code

I am trying to send photos to South Africa. I sent the pictures one at a time to keep the file small, however the recipient is unable to read the mail as it appears in a mixture of alpha and numeric. Is the problem my end or S.A. Thanks

As a suggestion, why not send one of the pictures to someone you know in this country with a PC, a friend, neighbour or relative. If you do that at least you will know where the fault lies.

Find out what they are trying to open the pictres with.

It will be alpha numeric if opened with a word processor rather than a picture browser.

Sent pictures to another PC and they were displayed OK. Unable to contact SA as they can't read the mail. Will phone at a reasonable time
