e-mail peculiarities

I have a google mail address and an outlook express address.
I have set them up so that anything that comes into google is sent to OE.
For some reason I get two of the same message in OE instead of one.
Can anyone tell me what's going on?

Assuming you have set it up correctly, it could be a corrupted file. Try this:

Using Windows Explorer, navigate to your store folder which, if you haven't moved it, is located at C:\Documents and Settings\{user name}\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{long name}\Microsoft\Outlook Express. You may have to show 'hidden' files in Folder Options to see it. Now find and delete the file POP3uidl.dbx. This file keeps track of which messages on the server have already been downloaded and should be ignored later.
